Alabama is divided into three main areas, northern, central and coastal southern, each has its own natural beauty and diversity. The area is a wonderful golf haven, featuring acres of pine forests, spreading live oaks, swampland and miles of beautiful golden beaches. Golf courses become a natural part of the landscape here as the topography allows a course to settle into its natural contours. The coastal area of Alabama still has fishing villages and bayous, unchanged from years ago.

ROBERT TRENT JONES GOLF TRAIL:
The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is one of America's greatest golf experiences and a determined golfer could visit the area and easily play a different top quality course every day of the week. In the late 1980's Dr David Bronner enlisted the help of legendary architect Robert Trent Jones Sr, to design a dazzling collection of public golf courses in the great state of Alabama. The trail consists of 18 golf courses, 378 holes at eight spectacular sites, each extracted from the land, not imposed on it. Each facility is easily accessible by major interstates and highways, and most are within a two-hour drive of the next site.
