The Hawaiian Islands are a collection of exquisite, exotic islands, offering the sound of surf and the beauty of a verdant land. Each island has its own distinctive character and scenery, and frequent inter-island flight services allow visitors to experience several of the islands within one holiday. Golf in the Hawaiian Islands is incredibly popular and the course settings are some of the most spectacular to be found anywhere in the world. Because of the flying distance many visitors choose to stop over on the west coast of America, either en-route to Hawaii or on the return journey.
BEST TIME TO VISIT:
Hawaii offers a superb year round golfing climate with temperatures reaching into 80s all year round. The summers tend to be drier and slightly hotter, and the winters can be wetter, particularly on north and east facing coasts which are exposed to tropical showers and breezier conditions as a result of the prevailing trade winds. The whale-watching season of December through to March is a very popular time to visit.
