Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale
The luxurious Four Seasons Resort offers 210 spacious guestrooms in 25 adobe casitas. Each guestroom has a private landscaped terrace or a balcony with desert and/or mountain views. Rugged Pinnacle Peak forms a backdrop to the freeform swimming pool, where complimentary amenities include fruit kebabs and chilled towels! Westin Kierland Resort & Spa
The 11-story Westin Kierland Resort and Spa offers 735 guestrooms, all featuring Westin's Heavenly Bed, with balconies offering views of the 27-hole on-site golf course or of desert and mountains. In addition to the full-service Agave Spa, the Resort offers an 8,000 sq. ft. waterpark designed for families and children includes a zero-entry sandy beach, 110-foot water slide, and 900-foot-long flowing river ride, along with an adult-only pool area, and eight dining venues.
The Boulders Resort
Towering cacti, 12-million-year-old boulders and free-roaming wildlife share the Sonoran Desert landscape with The Boulders Resort - Waldorf Astoria Collection located in Carefree just north of Scottsdale. The resort offers 160 beautiful adobe-style casitas, four swimming pools, six on-site restaurants (plus easy access to several more at El Pedregal located close by), a Spa, eight tennis courts and two championship-level golf courses.
The Scottsdale Plaza Resort
The Scottsdale Plaza Resort's 404 spcaious guestrooms (including 180 elegant suites) are located around the 40 beautifully landscaped acres. For dining options guests may choose from the resort's superb steakhouse or the casual sports bar.
The Clarion Scottsdale
The Clarion Hotel Scottsdale offers excellent value for money and is ideally located just north of "Old Town" Scottsdale. The hotel also offers guests a free local shuttle service. Recently renovated, the hotel offers spacious, well-equipped guestrooms, a heated outdoor pool, hot tub and small exercise room, along with a lounge bar and restaurant.
The Hyatt Summerfield Suites
This all-suite hotel is in downtown Scottsdale amid shops, restaurants with Fashion Square Shopping Mall a half-mile away. Hyatt Summerfield Suites serves a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, and a manager's social hour, Monday - Thursday evenings. An outdoor pool is paired with a spa tub. Accommodations include guestrooms, plus one and two-bedroom suites with full kitchen and lounge area.

BEST TIME TO VISIT: Late October through to mid May generally offers an excellent golfing climate and the best course conditions. Most of the top golf courses are closed for overseeding for 3-4 weeks during September and October, reducing your choice of courses if you choose to travel at that time. Despite the high temperatures of the summer months, the very low humidity in the desert allows golfers to take advantage of excellent value golf packages, although early morning tee-times are advisable because of the lunchtime and afternoon heat.
