Tucson, Arizona
Tucson is located in Southern Arizona, in a region known as the Sonoran desert. The city lies in a 500 square mile valley, cradled by five prominent mountain ranges, three of which have summits that approach or exceed 9,000 feet. The days, with very few exceptions, are typically warm and sunny, and the mild temperatures during spring, fall and winter are legendary. However, temperatures rise dramatically in the summer so early tee times are recommended. The greater Tucson area offers a wide choice of golf courses, from "target golf" with lush manicured fairways and expanses of natural desert terrain, to the more traditional formula of trees and lakes, finely groomed and framed against a desert and mountain background. Old West and New South West, the lifestyles that define Tucson, also provide a wealth of activities and attractions for you to enjoy. Tombstone is located near to Tucson and is well worth a visit to experience the historic "Wild West". Other nearby attractions include Phoenix, Sedona, Palm Springs, Las Vegas and The Grand Canyon which are all situated within easy driving distance.

Nestled into the Catalina Mountain foothills, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort embraces the spirit of this unique and beautiful land and 93 acres of resort area that adds up to countless activities, such as two Tom Fazio designed golf courses, a 2.5 mile par-course for walking or jogging, several waterfall-dotted nature trails, biking areas, two pools, eight lighted tennis courts, a croquet court, and of course, the full service spa.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is an unforgettable Tucson luxury hotel set in the high Sonoran Desert.
