The Monterey Peninsula is located approximately 2 hours driving time south of San Francisco and is home to some of America's greatest golf courses and the world famous Pebble Beach Resort and 17-Mile Drive.

Pebble Beach hosts the PGA Tour's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am annually, and has staged The US Open Championship on five occasions including Tiger Woods' record-breaking victory in June 2000, and won most recently in June 2010 by Graeme McDowell.
Only guests at the Pebble Beach Resorts may book tee-times at Pebble Beach Golf Links, The Links at Spanish Bay and Spyglass Hill in advance.

BEST TIME TO VISIT: The mild winter climate allows for year-round golf, with the best golfing climate and conditions being found from April through early November, as the winter months can be quite wet, with occasional Pacific storms blowing through. The AT&T Pro-Am is staged in early February each year so this would be a time to avoid.
