The area is centered on the banks of the St. Johns River, about 25 miles south of the Georgia border and about 340 miles north of Miami

Sawgrass Golf Resort & Spa

BEST TIME TO VISIT: The best golfing weather can be found March-May and late-September-early November. The humidity can be uncomfortably high during summer months while frost are quite common mid-winter.
