Myrtle Beach is a mecca for golf, with its surrounding coastal area offering over 100 courses from Georgetown in South Carolina, up to Southport in North Carolina.
There is a vast choice of courses including seaside, swamp, marshland, links, and parkland. Some of the courses feature magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean or intra coastal waterways, whilst others remain in true southern style set amongst old plantations with centuries old oak trees and ante-bellum style clubhouses.

BEST TIME TO VISIT: The mild winter climate allows for year-round golf, however cold spells during the winter, including heavy frosts often occur during January. The best golfing climate and conditions can be found during spring and late autumn. The summer climate can be hot with high humidity and the chance of tropical storms.
